Empty Bottles | DIY

There are certain essential oils that I use all the time and end up with lots of empty bottles. I can never quite get ALL the oil out of the bottle so here’s what I do…

I remove the cap and dropper and fill the bottle with epsom salts. In this particular instance, I’m working on a blend of Panaway, Valor and Copaiba. After a day or so, or actually when I remember, I’ll empty the bottles into a container and then add enough epsom salt and sometimes pink himalayan salt to fill along with a few more drops of each oil. Makes a great gift for someone battling some aches & pains.

Once the bottles are emptied I’ll throw them, along with the caps and dropper tops that have been sitting in epsom salts too, into a warm footbath to get the last remnants of the salt and oils…win win for my feet!

If I don’t keep the clean bottles to reuse for gifts or samples, I recycle them. How do you reuse your empty essential oil bottles?
